Simply Cards

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Simply Cards collects, uses and protects personal information.

Last updated: 16 May 2026

1. Who we are

Simply Cards is operated by Simply Works LTD, a company registered in England and Wales.

Company number: 16219998.

Registered office: 5 The Roundhouse, Fore Street, Bodmin, England, PL31 2HG.

In this policy, “Simply Cards”, “we”, “us” and “our” means Simply Works LTD.

If you have questions about this privacy policy, contact us at hello@simply-cards.co.uk.

2. What Simply Cards does

Simply Cards helps UK solo professionals create a public customer handoff card. A card can include links for payment, reviews, booking, contact, aftercare notes, policies, galleries, social pages and other useful information.

Customers do not need an account to open a public Simply Card.

A Simply Card is public to anyone with the link or QR code, so users should not add private customer information to their public card.

3. Information we collect from account users

When you create and use a Simply Cards account, we may collect your name, email address, business name, profession, card settings, card links, button labels, card colours, logo or branding information, account plan and basic account activity.

If paid plans are available, billing and payment information may be handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.

We may also collect support messages, feedback, error reports and information you choose to send us.

4. Information we collect from card visitors

When someone opens a public Simply Card, we may process basic technical information such as IP address, device information, browser information, page requested, date and time of access and security logs.

If we add simple card analytics, we may process card views and button click events to help account users understand how their card is being used.

We do not require card visitors to create an account.

5. Information added by users

Account users are responsible for the content they add to their card, including button labels, links, messages and uploaded branding.

Users should only add information they have the right to share.

Users must not add private customer data, sensitive information, misleading links, unlawful content or content that breaches another person’s rights.

6. Why we use personal information

We use personal information to create and manage accounts, provide the Simply Cards service, display public cards, save card settings, manage subscriptions, provide support, protect the service, prevent abuse, fix errors and improve the product.

We may also use limited information to send service messages, such as important account, security or product updates.

We may use aggregated or anonymous information to understand usage and improve Simply Cards.

7. Our lawful bases

We usually process account user information because it is necessary to provide the service under our terms.

We may process some information because we have a legitimate interest in running, securing and improving Simply Cards.

We may process billing or business records where we have a legal obligation.

Where consent is required, for example for certain cookies or marketing, we will ask for consent and you can withdraw it.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

Simply Cards may use essential cookies, local storage or similar technologies to keep you logged in, maintain security and make the dashboard work properly.

We may use non-essential analytics or marketing cookies in the future. If we do, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but blocking essential cookies may stop parts of Simply Cards from working.

9. Who we share information with

We may share information with trusted service providers that help us run Simply Cards, such as hosting providers, database providers, authentication providers, payment processors, email providers, analytics providers and support tools.

Our current technical stack may include providers such as Supabase, Vercel and Stripe.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights, to prevent fraud or abuse, or in connection with a business transfer.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

10. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process information outside the UK.

Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers, such as adequacy arrangements or standard contractual clauses where required.

11. How long we keep information

We keep account information while your account is active.

If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, unless we need to keep it for legal, tax, accounting, security or dispute reasons.

Technical logs are normally kept only for as long as needed for security, debugging and service reliability.

Billing and business records may be kept for longer where required for legal or tax reasons.

12. Your rights

Depending on the situation, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information.

You may also have the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent where we rely on consent.

To make a request, contact us at hello@simply-cards.co.uk.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how we handle your information.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information.

No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to reduce risk and protect the service from unauthorised access, misuse and loss.

14. Children

Simply Cards is designed for business users and is not intended for children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as Simply Cards develops.

If we make important changes, we will take reasonable steps to let users know.
