Terms of Service
These terms explain how you can use Simply Cards and what you are responsible for when creating and sharing your card.
Last updated: 16 May 2026
1. Who we are
Simply Cards is operated by Simply Works LTD, a company registered in England and Wales.
Company number: 16219998.
Registered office: 5 The Roundhouse, Fore Street, Bodmin, England, PL31 2HG.
In these terms, “Simply Cards”, “we”, “us” and “our” means Simply Works LTD.
You can contact us at hello@simply-cards.co.uk.
2. What Simply Cards provides
Simply Cards helps UK solo professionals create a public customer handoff card.
A card can include links for payment, reviews, booking, contact, aftercare notes, policies, galleries, social pages and other useful information.
Customers can open a public Simply Card without creating an account.
Simply Cards is not a payment processor, booking provider, review management tool, bank, financial adviser or legal adviser.
3. Who can use Simply Cards
Simply Cards is intended for UK solo professionals, sole traders and small businesses.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You must provide accurate account and business information.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
4. Your account
You are responsible for all activity on your account.
You must not share access to your account with anyone who should not have it.
You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, create risk for the service or are used in a harmful, unlawful or abusive way.
5. Public cards and user content
Your public card can be viewed by anyone with the link or QR code.
You are responsible for the business name, messages, button labels, links, logos, colours and other content you add.
You must not add unlawful, misleading, harmful, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, adult, fraudulent or malicious content.
You must not add private customer information to a public card unless you have a lawful basis and clear permission to publish it.
We may remove content or restrict access if we believe it breaks these terms or creates risk for Simply Cards, users, customers or third parties.
6. Links and third-party services
Simply Cards lets you add links to third-party services.
Those services may include payment pages, booking systems, review platforms, websites, social media pages, messaging apps or document pages.
You are responsible for making sure your links are accurate, safe and appropriate.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, outages, charges, actions or content.
If you add a payment link, the payment itself is handled by the payment provider or linked service, not by Simply Cards.
7. Reviews
Simply Cards may help you link to your review page.
Simply Cards is not a review management tool.
We do not remove reviews, filter unhappy customers, promise positive reviews or guarantee 5-star ratings.
You are responsible for following the rules of any review platform you link to.
8. Free and Pro plans
Simply Cards may offer a Free plan and paid Pro plans.
Free plans are intended to provide a useful starter version of the service.
Pro plans may include extra features such as more buttons, more cards, custom branding, exact colours, custom card links, QR options, analytics or future customer-specific cards.
Some Pro features may be released gradually, changed, renamed or removed as the product develops.
We will try to make plan limits and paid features clear before you upgrade.
9. Customer-specific cards
The public card is the main always-on card for your business.
Customer-specific cards are planned as a future Pro feature.
These may allow you to create a separate card for a specific customer, job, booking, payment, aftercare note or handoff.
Customer-specific cards may later connect with other Simply Works tools, such as Simply Link or Simply Booked.
Until those features are live, they should be treated as planned features, not guaranteed current functionality.
10. Payments and subscriptions
If you choose a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees shown at the time you subscribe.
Paid plans may be billed monthly or on another billing cycle shown at checkout.
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider.
We do not store full payment card details on our own systems.
If payment fails, we may suspend or limit access to paid features.
You can cancel a paid plan in line with the cancellation options we provide.
11. Refunds
Unless we say otherwise, paid subscriptions are charged for the billing period selected.
If something has gone wrong, contact us and we will review the situation fairly.
We may offer a refund, credit or other fix where we believe it is appropriate.
Nothing in these terms affects any legal rights you cannot waive under UK law.
12. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Simply Cards available and working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may update, improve, limit, suspend or remove parts of the service.
We may perform maintenance or make changes that temporarily affect access.
Simply Cards is an early product, so features may change as we improve it.
13. Acceptable use
You must not use Simply Cards for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading or harmful purposes.
You must not attempt to interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, bypass, attack or misuse the service.
You must not use Simply Cards to distribute malware, phishing links, spam, fake review schemes, scams or illegal content.
You must not impersonate another person or business.
14. Intellectual property
Simply Cards, the Simply Cards name, design, software, branding and related materials belong to Simply Works LTD or our licensors.
You keep ownership of the content you add to your own card.
You give us permission to host, display, process and transmit your content so we can provide the service.
You must have the right to use any content, logo, image, link or wording you add.
15. Closing your account
You can stop using Simply Cards at any time.
If account deletion is not available in the dashboard, contact us and we will help.
We may keep limited information where needed for legal, tax, accounting, security or dispute reasons.
16. Our responsibility
We provide Simply Cards with reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect links, user content, third-party services, customer disputes, missed payments, lost bookings, review outcomes or business decisions made using Simply Cards.
We do not guarantee that Simply Cards will increase sales, reviews, bookings or payments.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
17. Your responsibility
You are responsible for your business, your customers, your card content, your links and your compliance with laws and platform rules that apply to you.
You are responsible for checking your card before sharing it.
You should not rely on Simply Cards as your only record of customer information, payment terms, policies or booking details.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Simply Cards develops.
If we make important changes, we will take reasonable steps to let users know.
If you continue using Simply Cards after the terms change, the updated terms will apply.
These terms were last updated on 16 May 2026.
19. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives you a right to bring a claim somewhere else.
